I just had one of those parties kind of like a Tupperware party where you host and someone tries to sell your guests on their product. I don't know why I did it. I hate that kind of party. Anyway, I invited over 30 people and I only had four show up. (Thanks to those of you who did come! And I apologize to all for inviting you to a high-pressure sales party.)
So anyway, I went to all the work cleaning and preparing treats and all of that, and then I felt embarrased that hardly anyone came. I guess I can understand that they don't want to spend their Saturday being sold on an overpriced product. At the end of it all, I didn't have enough people or enough money spent to get any discounts at all. So I ended up buying a book myself so that I could get a free book. What a waste! Oh well, I know better for next time.

Well I had fun!!! But don't worry I know exactly how you feel. I had a party once like that for Sensaria, spelled something like that. Anyway hardly anyone came. I think I got a tiny discount, and ended up spending too much on lotion myself. (It is a lotion company. I love lotion, it is a weakness of mine. I should have put that on the list.)
Seriously what brand were those coconut cookies? They were seriously delicious.
I think that instead of doing a 100 list you should do like a 20 list. Then we get to learn cool things about you, and you don't have to spend so much time doing it. ;)
I like to come to your house and talk to you. I might just show up one day when I get bored. ;)
Meridy, you're welcome anytime. I get pretty bored myself.
Hi Deborah!
I'm sorry I couldn't come to your party. And I'm sorry you had such a poor turnout. You did a great job on your talk today though. So, now party and talk are done with. Yea!
ps-I think you should do the list too. I loved Meridy's!
Your party was fun! Sorry I'm so poor and couldn't buy anything. It was fun to chat and have a break.
Charisse, please don't feel bad about not buying anything. I didn't want you to. Next time I'm just going to throw a regular party. No selling involved. :)
Well now I'm all curious as to what kind of party it was!
Oh and I would have come but you didn't invite me.
It was for Heritage Makers. It's like digital scrapbooking, but they print your stuff for you in a nice, professional-looking book. It's really cool, but super expensive. And Kate, I totally would've invited you had I known you would drive six hours to come. ;)
I could use the sunshine! And social interaction. :P
Never heard of Heritage Makers. But I'm too lazy to scrapbook so it might be good.
